 One of Qabiria's aims is to become a point of contact for initiatives oriented towards the diffusion of Italian culture in Spain and of Spanish and Catalan culture in Italy. Qabiria follows with keen interest theatrical production in both countries and acts as an intermediary in event's organization regarding the diffusion of Italian dramaturgy and literature.
At present we are preparing the staging of a cycle of ‘mise en espace’ and readings of Italian texts in collaboration with institution such as the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Barcelona, the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona's Diputació, and several theatres, such as the Sala Beckett, the Sala Cuarta Pared in Madrid and the Espai Brossa in Barcelona.
We are currently contributing as well in the creation of a web site dealing with the relatonship between dubbing and translation, called QueTraDo, which will include a bibliographic database, available for sector's specialists.
