Founding partner of Qabiria, Carles Fernández Giua manages the Sales and cultural contacts.
He has two degrees, one in Law from the Pompeu Fabra University and one in History of Art from Barcelona University. After practising law and working in finance and in the public sector, he became a freelance translator and interpreter in 2000. He worked with several agencies specializing in technical translations both in Spain and in Italy. At the same time he assiduously devoted himself to literary and theatrical initiatives, winning important awards. Among other projects, he translated Genova 01 by Fausto Paravidino into Catalan and was responsible for its staging, which was premièred at the Grec festival in Barcelona in 2005. He has also been involved in putting on a number of plays in Madrid, Barcelona and Seville. |
