| Some time ago a friend of ours expressed his concern about a business trip to Ukraine he was going on. He suffers from a serious allergy to peanuts, and he was worried about not being able to explain his condition to the hotel and restaurant staff. A language problem! We love solving language problems! This is how we came upon the idea of creating Allerglobal.com: a free on-line service that conveniently translates dozens of food allergies in almost all Central and Eastern European languages.
Several users have provided their feedback. We have received hundreds of mails, messages of appreciation, some suggestions on missing foods or languages, and even some personal stories. We have realized that a service like Allerglobal can really help people with severe allergies traveling with more peace of mind. It is great to create something relevant and useful for people. We feel really happy about this success. Moreover, it demonstrates that there are plenty of smart, useful ways to make use of our language and technical expertise. Good ideas always work. And now, let's find another one!

It automatically creates a customized, accurate passport-sized card with the user's allergy information in the chosen language. Users just need to print it, slip it in their wallet and show it at restaurants, hotels, or wherever needed.
