We won! With the idea "Add-on for the translation of short texts through instant messaging" we placed first and got the $5,000-award in the contest organized by WeLocalize to improve their open source translation management system, GlobalSight.

Our idea has been the most voted by the community, with 83 votes, and also the most valued by the expert committee. All the details about the idea are available on GlobalSight website.

GlobalSight is a collaborative, open source initiative to develop a flexible and sustainable Translation Management System (TMS) that leverages the best ideas and addresses the true needs of the industry. è curioso. Proprio in questi giorni stavo pensando al fatto che anche il traduttore ha quei costi fissi per ogni piccolissima cosa richiesta e da fare. un sistema come il tuo andrebbe collegato ad una lista generata automaticamente su cui emettere una sola fattura fine mese o perfino trimestrale. Personalmente calcolerei una cosa del genere con un prezzo tipo abbonamento mensile o trimensile basato su una quantita massima da accordare. In questo modo anche il traduttore riuscirebbe a formulare un prezzo moloto piu' accettabile per il cliente.
