| Qualche mese fa ho deciso di partecipare come traduttore volontario all'Open Translation Project, l'interessante iniziativa di TED.com mirata al sottotitolaggio dei TEDTalks, i video delle conferenze . I motivi per cui ho preso questa decisione sono spiegati con maggiori dettagli in uno dei nostri articoli. Qui vi presento alcune delle conferenze che ho tradotto o corretto.

Dear Marco,
I started translating my first TED talk a week ago and it's nice to know that other people as just as excited about this as I am. I also read your article in Italian presenting the reasons why professional translators should consider volunteering to translate for TED. I found it very interesting and motivating. Actually, I am interested in adapting it into English in order to publish it to my newly founded blog. It goes without saying that reference will be made to you and the original article. Please let me know what you think about it. Kind regards, Christa

Merco, as of late there has been scarce time available, so I didn't make it to translate your article into English. In my latest blog post, I did, however, mention your article and translate the reasons you list in Greek. You might want to check it out, even though it's in Greek: http://babelfishtranslation.blogspot.com/
